The launch of the SPRINT 4.0 national public service leadership program
The National Institute of Public Administration and Management (INAMP), in partnership with the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova and with the support of the Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) from the Kingdom of Sweden and the Estonian Center for International Development (ESTDEV) from the Republic of Estonia, officially launched the national public service leadership program SPRINT 4.0.
The launch event, organized at the Government House, brought together representatives of public administration authorities, the diplomatic corps and partners international development. The initiative contributes to the consolidation of the public service and the modernization of the public administration, in the context of the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova.
At the event, Alexandru Iacub, Deputy General Secretary of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, highlighted the importance of investing in the human capital of the public administration for the success of institutional reforms. For her part, Veronica Butnaru, Director of the National Institute of Public Administration and Management, emphasized the role of strengthening a modern administrative culture, based on professionalism, responsibility and orientation towards the citizen.
The SPRINT 4.0 program is designed as a professional development platform for young civil servants, aimed at strengthening leadership skills, promoting integrity and developing a government centered on the citizen. The current edition will bring together 25 civil servants aged up to 35, selected through a competitive process. The program emphasizes the development of the institutional capacity of the public administration by training a new generation of leaders capable of managing modernization processes.
Through its results-oriented approach, the program encourages the development and piloting of institutional interventions and public policy proposals, aimed at responding to the real challenges of the public administration and contributing to the modernization of public services. Participants will benefit from applied training, mentoring, exchange of best practices and study visits, with an emphasis on developing leadership skills, ethics and professional integrity.
The current edition benefits from the expertise of partners from Sweden and Estonia, including through training modules and study visits to Stockholm and Tallinn, giving participants direct access to European models of good governance, administrative digitization and modern public services.
The launch event was facilitated by Valeriu Țurcanu, Head of Service within INAMP, and in a dedicated session, the architecture of the SPRINT 4.0 Program was presented.
